Manchester United displayed a beautiful performance on Tuesday afternoon to thrash Premier League rivals Liverpool 4-0 in a pre-season friendly game in Bangkok.

United opened the scoring in the 12th minute through Jadon Sancho, before two quickfire goals from Fred and Martial made it 3-0 by half-time.

Both managers made several changes during the match, with Klopp using 32 players in total. Ten Hag used 10 fewer players, and there was concern when David de Gea signalled he would need to come off due to injury in the 68th minute.

Facundo Pellistri, who was introduced at half-time in place of Sancho, rounded off the scoring. United travel to Australia next, with their next match against Melbourne Victory taking place on July 15.

The game was the first game in charge for Red Devils manager, Eric Ten Hag, who joined the Old Trafford club at the end of last season.
