The Oba of Benin, His Royal Majesty, Oba Ewuare II on Thursday paid a courtesy visit to President Muhammadu Buhari at the Aso Rock Villa, Abuja.

The Monarch who was in company of his palace Chiefs, traditional rulers from the state, veterans of the diplomatic service and family members tasked the President to deliver on his campaign promises by concentrating on infrastructural development, security, human trafficking as well as the dualization of the Benin-Auchi road.

He also reminded the President that traditional rulers were yet to be assigned a role in the constitution, adding that as custodians of the peoples tradition and culture, they have the capability of stabilising the polity and ensure that people of different ethnic tribes live in unity.
