Ondo State Deputy Governor and Zenith Labour Party (ZLP) governorship candidate, Hon Agboola Ajayi, cast his vote about 10.32 a.m at Apoi Ward II, Unit 004 in the 2020 Ondo governorship election.

Ajayi who cast his in company of some of party faithfuls at his Ward
however noted that he was not satisfied with the security put in place in his area in Ese Odo ‘Local Government Area which is a riverine area in Ondo state.

The ZLP candidate had earlier debunked reports that he was stepping down from the race.

Earlier, Ajayi’s campaign refuted a purported statement on the social media, claiming he had stepped down from the race overnight.

The Director of Media and Publicity, Ajayi Campaign Organisation, said the withdrawal was a figment of hyperactive imagination.

He said those peddling rumours and falsehood are agents of potential losers of the poll.

Akinsola stressed “They are weak and afraid. Ajayi has not withdrawn. Ajayi will not withdraw. He is in the race to win.”
