Top Nigerian businesswoman and Oil magnate, Mrs. Folorunsho Alakija has posted a terse statement on her official social media account, amidst reports that her marriage to her husband of about 30 years has hit the rocks.

In a statement posted on her official X handle, Alakija appears to be praying for peace. In the tweet which may pass for a vague reference to the reports making round, the Oil magnate prayed that “Your heart will not be broken by evil-doers”

She tweeted, “Your heart will not be broken by evil-doers. Negativity will not break your heart. The enemies will not break your heart. Nothing shall threaten your peace. You will have peace in the morning, afternoon, and evening. Your peace will be all around and intact.”

Last week reports emerged that there was alleged marital disharmony between Folorunsho Alakija and her husband, Modupe Alakija.

According to reports, the feud was said to have begun about six years ago but escalated in recent times, a development which reportedly prompted both husband and wife to opt for separation.

According to inside sources and friends of the Alakijas, efforts have been made in recent months to reconcile the lovely couples, but things seem to have fallen apart beyond what was anticipated.

The New Diplomat reports that Folorunsho Alakija is the founder of FAMFA Oil Limited, and has made a name for herself as a successful businesswoman, philanthropist, and minister of Christ. She is also the Vice Chairman of the Company while her husband was made to function as Chairman of the Board.
