Senator Ede Dafinone, the Senator representing Delta Central Senatorial District of Delta State in the Senate, has felicitated with the immediate past Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, CFR, as he celebrates his 61st birthday.

The Federal lawmaker, in a statement issued on Saturday, described Omo-Agege, the Obarisi of Urhoboland, as a distinguished leader who has continued to be a source of inspiration for several others.

Dafinone said the illustrious career of Omo-Agege has seen him transforming the lives of several people as well as impacting on communities.

He wished the former lawmaker good health, long life and strength to continue serving his people.

The statement reads in part: “It is with great joy and admiration that I extend my warmest wishes to you on the occasion of your 61st birthday. As a distinguished leader and a cherished brother, your life and work have been a source of inspiration to countless others across Delta Central and beyond.
