Rivers State Governor , Nyesom Ezenwo Wike has called on judges to be courageous in the discharge of their constitutional responsibility to the people .

Speaking while swearing-in Justice Constance Douye Green and Justice Chinwendu Nworgu as justices of the Rivers State Judiciary , Governor Wike noted that the present-day realities require strength of character from Judges.

He said that judges who lack courage to dispense justice in line with the Constitution and the Rule of Law ought to resign from the judiciary .

The swearing-in ceremony at the Government House , Port Harcourt was attended by the Chief of Rivers State , Justice Adama Iyayi-Laminkara , President of Customary Court of Appeal , Justice Christiana Gabriel-Nwankwo, Wife of the Rivers State Governor, Justice Eberechi Suzzette Nyesom-Wike, other judges of the Rivers State Judiciary , Senior Advocates of Nigeria and leaders of the bar in Rivers State.
