The Lagos State government, on Thursday, arraigned the principal of Chrisland School, Opebi, vice principal and two employees over the death of one of its pupils, identified as a 12-year-old Whitney Adeniran.

The arraigned persons identified as Ademoye Adewale, Kuku Fatai, Mrs. Belinda Amao, Nwatu Ugochi Victoria and Chrisland School Limited, were arraigned before the Lagos state High Court, Ikeja.

The Lagos state Department of Public Prosecution(DPP), in its petition slam a two-count charge.

The defendants were arraigned on two count charges bordering on involuntary manslaughter, reckless and negligent acts preferred against them by the state.

It would be recalled that Whitney passed away on February, 9, 2023.
