Oluwo of Iwoland, Oba Abdulrasheed Akanbi, on Friday, dismissed the suspension imposed on him by the Osun council of traditional rulers, stating clearly, he is in-charge of his Kingdom.

Hours after his announcement, Akanbi took to Instagram to say the action of the council was illegal.

Recall that, Akanbi was suspended on Thursday by the Osun State Traditional Rulers’ Council at a meeting presided over by Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi.

The emergency meeting was held at Osun State Government Secretariat, Abere.

The young monarch was suspended for an alleged assault of the Agbowu of Ogbaagba, Dhikrulahi Akinropo, during a peace meeting last week in Osogbo, capital of Osun State.
