A video of Governor Godwin Obaseki’s Aide de-Camp (ADC) collapsing during the Edo Governor’s inaugural address has surfaced on the social media.
The New Diplomat had reported that Obaseki and his deputy, Hon Phillip Shaibu were sworn-in on Thursday as Governor and Deputy Governor of Edo State respectively for a second term in office.
The inauguration ceremony which was held at the Tennis Court of the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, Benin City, had in attendance several dignatries, party leaders including four governors from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
The video showed a fatigued ADC standing behind the Governor in a black police uniform trying to struggle from falling down.
Few seconds after, he gradually slumped without the attention of Obaseki initially as other aides helped him out of the podium while Obaseki continued with his speech.
