In a grand and glamorous celebration, the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, joyously welcomed his wife, Olori Ashley, and their newly born baby into the majestic palace.

The palace was filled with a sense of occasion, as vibrant decorations adorned the palace, reflecting the rich cultural heritage of the kingdom.

In a viral video, it was observed that several elders prayed for the newborn baby. They prayed for a long life and achievements for the newborn baby.

The New Diplomat reports that Olori Ashley, Ooni’s fourth wife, gave birth to a baby boy in September 2024. This is their first child together.

The baby boy is celebrated as a crown prince, belonging to both the Ooni Adagba Royal Compound of the Lafogido ruling house through his mother and the Ooni Agbedegbede Royal Compound of the Giesi ruling house through his father, combining two prestigious lineages within the palace.
