Enugu Catholic Priest, Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka has showed up at the adoration ground hours after he was reported missing on Wednesday.

The New Diplomat had reported that tension had escalated over the sudden disappearance of Mbaka, Spiritual Director of Adoration Ministry, Enugu as his faithfuls and the Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Council Worldwide (OYC) raised alarm over the whereabouts of the fiery cleric.

But the Catholic priest reappeared at about 2:50 pm on Wednesday. His appearance led to a dramatic turn of events as protests by his supporters quickly turned to jubilation.

As of the time of this reporting, the  reason for his sudden disappearance has not been made known, but he has asked supporters and press men to move to his adoration ground where he promised to address a press conference shortly.

Earlier, the spokesman of the DSS, Peter Afunaya, had told Vanguard that the secret police did not arrest Fr. Mbaka.

Afunaya said: “Rev Fr Mbaka is not with the DSS. The DSS did not pick him up, please.”
