A former federal lawmaker, Dino Melaye, has again dropped another diss song for immediate past Kogi State governor Yahaya Bello, who is facing trial before a Federal High Court in Abuja over alleged N110 billion fraud.

Melaye, a political arch-rival to Bello since 2016, in the latest diss song expressed satisfaction with the court’s decision.

It would be recalled that on Tuesday Justice Maryanne Anenih of the Federal High Court in Abuja dismissed the bail application of Bello.

The judge also ordered that Bello be remanded in Kuje Correctional Centre pending a hearing on his bail application.

The presiding judge also ruled that the trial on the N110 billion alleged money laundering will continue on January 29 and 30 and February 25 and 27.

Taking to his X (formerly Twitter) account, Melaye claimed he had predicted Bello’s legal downfall six years ago.

He wrote: “Six years ago, SDM predicted Yahaya Bello would end up in prison. Today, he will be spending Christmas in Kuje prison. All powers belong to God.”
