Former federal lawmaker, Senator Dino Melaye, known for his flamboyant lifestyle and political drama, has once again captured public attention by sharing a tour of his expansive country home in Kogi State with his two children.
In a video posted on his social media accounts, Melaye showcased his penchant for drama and luxury.
Melaye, who hails from Aiyetoro Gbede in Ijumu Local Government Area, flaunted his lavish lifestyle on social media, including his properties and collections.
In his recent post, Melaye expressed pride in his home, with one caption noting, “Na God dey roll am” (meaning “It’s God who makes it happen”), suggesting an acknowledgement of divine favour in his life.
The New Diplomat reports that the interior decor of the house is breathtaking, showcasing an elegance and opulence that rivals even the grandest palaces of some Nigerian kings.
Each room is adorned with exquisite furnishings, rich textures, and striking artwork, creating an atmosphere of luxury and refinement.
The former lawmaker also exhibited his prized collection, an array of high-end watches, stylish shoes, and tailored outfits.
Melaye is a prominent Nigerian politician who served as a former senator and member of the 8th Nigeria National Assembly, representing Kogi West Senatorial district of Kogi State at the Senate.
He was born on January 7, 1974, in Kano State, Nigeria. Post his senatorial tenure, Melaye ran for Kogi State governorship under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in 2019 but did not secure the nomination. He contested again in the 2023 elections but came third, with Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo of Kogi State emerging as the winner.
