President Donald Trump on Sunday admitted for the first time that President-elect Joe Biden had “won” the 2020 race for the White House.

But the President acted like someone playing a mind game of some sorts when he later backtracked, saying that he concedes “nothing.”

“He won because the Election was Rigged,” Trump wrote on Twitter.

Around an hour later, Trump said he’s not giving up his fight to challenge the election results.

“He only won in the eyes of the FAKE NEWS MEDIA,” he tweeted.

“I concede NOTHING! We have a long way to go. This was a RIGGED ELECTION!”

Political analysts have suggested that the acknowledgement from Trump signalled he could be on the verge of conceding the race. But others have said the President’s back-and-forth could be targeted at eliciting reactions from the media as he bids his time on way forward.

Recall despite losing the Electoral College by 74 and popular vote by 5 million as called by major US media, Trump has refused to accept the result.

Trump, in his initial tweet, stated series of reasons why he claimed the victory was handed to the Democratic presidential candidate. However, evidence have become scarce to back the claims as time is ticking out on them.

The Republican leader has launched legal battle, trying to challenge the validity of the result, but legal heads in the US media have continued to state reasons why his allegations of mass ballot stuffing and voter fraud may not have chances of success.

“NO VOTE WATCHERS OR OBSERVERS allowed, vote tabulated by a Radical Left privately owned company, Dominion, with a bad reputation & bum equipment that couldn’t even qualify for Texas (which I won by a lot!), the Fake & Silent Media, & more!” he continued.

Trump had previously accused the company, Dominion Voting which supplies voting machines throughout the US of deleting 2.7 million votes for him across the country and changing 221,000 votes cast in Pennsylvania for him to favor Biden.

However, the company said in a statement that it “denies claims about any vote switching or alleged software issues with our voting systems.”

Last week, Trump became the first president since 1992 to fail to get re-elected, following projections Mr Biden had successfully flipped the key states of Pennsylvania, Arizona and Georgia to win the White House.
