Concerns have begun to mount as reports emerging on Wednesday suggest that the son of Governor Babagana Umara Zulum of Borno State, has reportedly been arrested by security operatives in India and he is being kept in custody.

According to reports, the Governor’s son was arrested and kept in detention for alleged involvement in the murder of an unidentified Indian national in a nightclub.

The incident was said to have occurred in a nightclub where a fight reportedly broke out over a woman and purportedly escalated into an unprecedented violence.

This development was brought to light by an investigative journalist identified as Pidom Nigeria on X formerly known as Twitter.

According to Pidom Nigeria, the governor’s son allegedly used a bottle to hit the Indian national, leading to the tragic demise of the individual.

He also revealed that Zulum had reportedly tried used his influence and diplomatic channels to resolve the matter amicably with the authorities in India but all attempts have been unsuccessful.

However, the Governor hasn’t commented on the allegations.
