Hadiza Bala-Usman, the Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Policy and Coordination and Head of the Central Delivery and Coordination Unit, has warned that no minister will be spared if they fail to deliver.

Bala-Usman made this known on Wednesday at the opening of the technical retreat for delivery desk officers of federal ministries on the implementation of presidential priorities and ministerial deliverables in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.

While addressing delivery desk officers of federal ministries at the event, the president’s aide reportedly emphasized that what is important to the president is delivering on his campaign promises to make life better for all,

She urged the officers to take their jobs seriously.

It would be recalled that a few months ago, President Tinubu declared that ministers in his cabinet must adhere to their performance standards and undergo periodic evaluations to retain their positions.

He, therefore, warned that ministers who do not achieve their objectives would be asked to leave.
