US President Donald Trump made the pledge to President Muhammadu Buhari in a phone call on Tuesday,

During the conversation, Trump promised to send ventilators to Nigeria to help critically ill Covid-19 patients overcome the respiratory disease, Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed disclosed this at the daily ministerial briefing of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19.

Also, presidential aide Bashir Ahmad tweeted: “President Muhammadu Buhari had a phone conversation with the US President Donald Trump today, the two leaders discussed Nigeria’s efforts to defeat the COVID–19 Pandemic.
