The presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi might be experiencing some trouble right now as the SouthWest chapter of his party has collapsed its entire structure into the All Progressives Congress(APC).

The Southwest LP chairman, Omotoso Banji, made this announcement in Akure, Ondo state.

Other leaders of LP that defected were Omowumi Olosola, Ondo Secretary of LP, and Sola Alabi amongst others.

The New Diplomat reports that this might affect the chances of Obi in the forthcoming election as he is contesting against the presidential candidate of the APC, Bola Tinubu, who hails from Southwest.
