A popular Nigerian gospel singer Sammie Okposo has passed on in the early hours of Friday, November 25, 2022, at the age of 51.

According to reports, the singer slumped and died in his home on Friday morning.

This comes months after Okposo took to his verified Instagram page to apologise to his wife, Ozioma after cheating on her with another woman in the United States in an incident that happened in 2021.

As a result of the scandal, the singer made the decision to take time off from ministration in order to retrace his steps with God before returning back to ministry after a few months.

However, Nigerians have taken to their social media platforms to mourn the shocking demise of the singer.
