Elder statesman, and a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief Lanre Razaq is dead

Razaq reportedly died on Saturday, 15 August, 2020 in Lagos at the age of 74.

He was a member of the Governor’s Advisory Committee (GAC).

According to a source, Rasaq was said to have been ill and was reported to have been on admission in an undisclosed hospital in the state for the past one month.

He was a close confidant of a national leader of the APC, Bola Tinubu.

The deceased was also a former Commissioner for Transport in Lagos.
