Former governor of Lagos State, and a national leader of the All Progressives Congress(APC) Asiwaju Bola Tinubu returned to the country, Sunday evening, at the end of his vacation abroad.

Asiwaju Tinubu, one of the national leaders of All Progressives Congress(APC) arrived in Lagos via the Murtala Mohammed International Airport in company of some of his aides.

Tinubu had been flown to France in early January amid conflicting mediareports that he was hit by Covid-19 complications.

But no sooner had the report emerged than Tinubu’s Special Adviser on media and Publicity, Tunde Rahman dismissed the speculations as fake, inaccurate and very misleading.

Rahman said the reports were inaccurate and completely misleading, stressing that the trip was his usual annual vacation.

He said: “This story is inaccurate. Asiwaju is healthy and does not have COVID-19. He took his annual trip and as part of the preparation for the trip he took a COVID-19 test which was negative.”
