Reports emerging on Monday have suggested that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has reportedly decided to reschedule the date for the official presentation of the 2025 Appropriation Bill.

The President was meant to present a N47.9tn 2025 budget proposal before the joint session of the National Assembly on Tuesday, December 17.

However, according to sources emerging from the presidential villa, the presentation has been shifted to Wednesday, December 18.

It would be recalled that the President of the Senate, Senator Godswill Akpabio, last week Thursday announced that Tinubu will present the 2025 budget on Tuesday.

Akpabio had announced: “The president has made his intention known to the National Assembly to present the 2025 budget to the joint Assembly of the National Assembly on the 17th of December, 2024.”

Akpabio had also announced that the budget presentation will occur at the House of Representatives Chamber.
