Former Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun has met with one of the national leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, in his London home, in United Kingdom.

Senator Amosun, who is said to be President Muhammadu Buhari’s closest ally in the Southwest was seen beaming with smiles as he met with Tinubu, a former Governor of Lagos State.

Tinubu’s London home had recently become a Mecca of sorts for high profile politicians in the Southwest as Asiwaju continues to receive prominent personalities in the country there, making many to lose track of the rumours that have it that the top politician has been attending to a secret ailment while away in London.

Recall the former Lagos Governor, reported to be organizing his political war chest ahead of the 2023 presidential election, was seen with a walking stick during President Buhari’s visit to his London home on August 12. However, Tinubu’s media aides have continued to refute reports of Asiwaju’s ill health, telling Nigerians that all was well with their principal.

Before Amosun, prominent Southwest politicians who had visited Tinubu in recent time include Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State, Governor Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti state, Governor Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State, Lagos state house of Assembly Speaker, Mudashiru Obasa, Muiz Banire among others.
