It appears that President Bola Tinubu will place utmost importance on minimizing insecurity in the upcoming year.

This is evident as the Ministry of Defence has received the highest allocation of N1.3 trillion in the approved 2024 budget.

It would be recalled on Saturday, that an augmented appropriation Bill was approved by both chambers of the National Assembly, showing a significant increase in the budget initially proposed by President Bola Tinubu.
