As political campaigns hot up across the nation, the Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign council has enlisted Chief Sunny Jackson Udoh, a former highly ranked member of Buhari’s campaign council to fortify its advisory team.

A letter to this effect dated 23 November, 2023 was handed over the Akwa Ibom born APC Chieftain,
Chief Udoh.

It would be recalled that Chief Udoh played a formidable role in the immediate past President Mahmoud Buhari ‘s 2018 electoral victory where he doubled as a presidential campaign council member and patron of Buhari support group.

The letter which reads in part states: “This appointment is fitting and appropriate given your impressive political achievement and the exemplary leadership you have demonstrated as a party leader, your wealth of experience and statesman-like guidance is important to us at this period as we chart a new course.”

The epigram which was personally signed by the APC Presidential flag bearer, Asiwaju Tinubu emphasized that the council is interested in issue based campaign, which Chief Udoh is comfortable with.

Chief Udoh, who parades an impeccable pedigree in local politics, is prominent member of the revered Ibibio Elders forum as well as the present Chairman, Uyo Senatorial District Elder’s Forum, a neutral social-political group.
