President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Saturday approved the appointment of Mainasara Kogo as the new chairman of the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT) and Omolola Oloworaran as the Director-General of the National Pension Commission (PenCom).

Tinubu also approved the appointment of Jobson Ewalefoh as the new Director-General of the Infrastructure Concession Regulatory Commission (ICRC).

The President also announced the approval of the appointment of Oluwaseun Faleye as the new Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of the Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF).

The appointments were unveiled in separate Saturday statements by President Tinubu’s spokesman Ajuri Ngelale.

On Kogo, the statement reads in part: “President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of Dr. Mainasara Umar Kogo as the Chairman of the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT).

“Dr. Kogo is a seasoned lawyer and analyst in the fields of law, security, economy, politics, and international diplomacy.”

On PenCom, he said: “President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of Ms. Omolola Bridget Oloworaran as the new Director-General of the National Pension Commission (PenCom).

“Ms. Oloworaran is a finance and banking expert with many years of experience The appointment is subject to the confirmation of the ex-sex-chairpersonNgelale said the appointment is subject to the Senate’s confirmation.

Faleye who has been appointed as the new Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of the NSITF is a legal and corporate finance specialist. He is a former lawmaker and an ex-chairperson of the Lagos State House of Assembly Committee on Women Affairs, Poverty Alleviation, and Job Creation.

The president is urging them to use their positions and professionalism to improve the various agencies.

Also appointed by Tinubu is Mr. Cornelius Oluwasegun Adebayo.

Adebayo was appointed as the new Executive Secretary/Chief Executive Officer of the National Agricultural Land Development Authority (NALDA).

Adebayo is an engineer and also a community and social development expert.

The President expects the new Chief Executive Officer of NALDA to deploy his competence and experience in supporting and driving the growth and sustainability of Nigeria’s agricultural sector.
