President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the foremost businessman, Mr. Tony Onyemaechi Elumelu, as he celebrates his 61st birthday.

Tinubu who described Elumelu as a remarkable businessman applauded him for not only acquiring success but also becoming a paragon of several success stories for young entrepreneurs.

The president added that the indelible footprints of Elumelu will forever remain in the history books of Nigeria.

The statement reads, “I extend my warmest congratulations to Tony Onyemaechi Elumelu, CFR, on his birthday, today, March 22, 2024.

“I celebrate this foremost businessman and philanthropist, who chairs Heirs Holdings, Transcorp, United Bank for Africa, and is the founder of The Tony Elumelu Foundation.

“Tony Elumelu is a remarkable industry leader who is known for his uncommon spirit of excellence that guides his entire enterprise. His streak of genius in driving investments, creating opportunities for Africa’s ebullient youth, and providing them with the support they need to succeed is quite commendable.
