Nigeria’s President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has appointed a 25-year-old first-class graduate of Mechanical Engineering, Imam Ibrahim Kashim Imam, to head the board of the Federal Roads Maintenance Agency (FERMA).
The appointment of Engr. Imam Ibrahim Kashim Imam as Chairman of the FERMA board was the most notable in the history of the federal government agency being the youngest ever.
Imam Ibrahim Kashim Imam, a graduate from Brighton University was born on December 27, 1998.
He continued to demonstrate his academic prowess at the same esteemed university by pursuing an MSc with honors.
His appointment comes after completing his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in August 2022.
By appointing Engr. Imam Ibrahim Kashim Imam, the president is continuing to make sure that those serving in his administration aren’t just party members or allies, but also those who have the capacity to deliver his campaign promises.
His appointment as FERMA board chairman is expected to instill professional service delivery in the infrastructure of the nation.
