President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has reiterated his dedication to advancing Nigeria’s progress, a stance that received strong backing from the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Executive Committee (NEC) during a meeting on Wednesday.

This is as the APC NEC in a show of solidarity, passed a vote of confidence in Tinubu’s leadership.

Addressing party leaders, Tinubu emphasized his administration’s focus on delivering tangible results for Nigerians, despite challenges and criticism.

He highlighted ongoing efforts to stabilize the economy, enhance security, and promote sustainable development, underscoring that his commitment remains unwavering.

He stated: “I appreciate this vote of confidence and wholeheartedly accept it. However, it is not just an endorsement but a challenge to do even more. We will vigorously pursue food security, attract investment, and drive sustainable development.

“I am pleased to see food prices coming down, especially as Ramadan approaches. Despite global uncertainties, Nigeria is witnessing economic growth and resilience. I extend my gratitude to the governors for their dedication.”

Tinubu also appreciated Nigerians for their trust in the APC and assured them that his administration would continue to collaborate with all arms of government to achieve national progress.

“I appreciate our governors for embracing positive change and our lawmakers for their swift consideration of the national budget. Our party remains a progressive platform dedicated to delivering quality governance.

“The NWC is performing excellently, but we must work towards resolving conflicts in various states. I appeal to all party leaders to remain patient and cooperative,” Tinubu added.

In his address, APC National Chairman, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, commended party members for their resilience and reaffirmed the party’s commitment to fulfilling its electoral promises.

He said: “Though the journey has been challenging, we have risen to the occasion and continue to meet Nigerians’ expectations.”
