A veteran actor, and former Tinsel’ star, Victor Olaotan has passed away yesterday.

The 69-year-old was popular for his role in the TV series, Tinsel as “Big Daddy.”

His wife, Julia Olaotan, confirmed his death to newsmen on Friday, August 27, 2021.

Julia who had been seeking support for the late actor, said her husband died on Thursday night in Lagos State.

She however thanked the donors for assisting her spouse in a Turkish hospital where he was fighting for his life.

Recall, the renowned actor celebrated his 69th birthday in a Turkish hospital while he was suffering the symptoms of a catastrophic brain injury he sustained in a vehicle accident in October 2016.

However, a rich businessman and philanthropist, Femi Otedola reportedly gave the actor N30 million in 2019.

Julia, who chatted with her husband frequently said she could tell her husband was “fighting for his life” whenever they spoke.
