I quite agree that the PDP Okowa Administration, set-off a ‘negative fireball’ in nepotistic, mediocre governance and mismanagement of our commonwealth that is fanning through Delta State with pungent, fowl smell, like a night soil man, and so, it should be jettisoned for a more progressive platform that will untie our interests and work for a discerning future of Delta State.
I also agree that only a dauntless, undeterred person with humongous developmental achievments like the Deputy Senate President, Olorogun Ovie Omo-Agege can quench that fire, and rescue the people of Delta State from this “pervasive ruin”.
That is why the boorish, amateurish, infantile response of Dr. Osuoza (the Delta PDP Publicity Secretary), and his Comrade at arms Mr. Charles Aniagwu, the commissioner of misinformation, should not only be discountenanced but thrown into abyss, along with the PDP and its cohorts.
As is the case all the time, and like a numskull, Dr. Osuoza and his leakeys has failed to appreciate the issues raised by the Deputy Senate President in his declaration speech. They lamentedly decided to act some Nollywood scripting with their very illogical press releases.
Those issues are simple and very pertinent particularly in these times: Is there increasing unemployment among the youths in Delta state or not now, compared to 2015 when Sen. Okowa was first elected? Is there “prosperity for all Deltans” as promised by the Okowa administration?-No! No!! No!!! Do we have a fair rate of quality infrastructure development that can match our revenue, including the stupendous federal allocations received in the past 7 years?- No! No!! No!!! What of our rural communities – What are the living conditions among the poor?- Very deplorable! Many more questions come to mind.
Osuoza cum Aniagwu, and his PDP are yet to tell us why pensioners’ in Delta State have been abandoned and subjected to so much pain and suffering. They should tell us why parents must pay high tuition for their wards without corresponding increase in wages and welfare. PDP should tell us how many Deltan’s have access to healthcare and can afford it?
Unfortunately, Dr. Osuoza and the PDP under Okowa are engaged in political grandstanding. He sits behind the table in his office, burping every other minute from overdose ration of yam and beans porridge, laced with cowtail; from where he instructs some assistants to write gutter press statements unbecoming.
The wreck that is PDP in Delta State is a huge loss and setback for Deltans and Osuoza knows it. We are asking to see “scientific” evidence and empirical data of people-centric achievements of the Okowa administration that Osuoza is talking about, including the alleged ghost 4,000 gainfully employed youth entrepreneurs from Oga DSP’s LGA, alone, as he erroneously posited laughingly!
We are not talking about privileges that have been extended to cronies and their families. We are not referring to “unseen” behind the curtain employment of favoured families and ‘hired gangsters’. Nobody is talking about the abysmally failed YAGEP “Starter Parks” that end up being sold by the beneficiaries; whose first concern and need is the next meal.
The truth is that the PDP government in Delta State is in self deceit, suffering from unmitigated cataclysmic diminishing results even in fiscal responsibility ratings amongst states, as earlier conducted by credible evaluators under Okowa’s hellish, lame – duck ‘Owanistic, Vampire, and nepotistic, mal – Administrative’ contraption!
Osuoza’s reference to Senator Barr. Peter Nwaoboshi our best performing Anioma Senator is as unsolicited as it is also diversionary. I ask, has he (Osuoza) now accepted that most road constructions (projects) claims by the PDP government of Delta State are in truth NDDC projects attracted by Senator Nwaoboshi?
Okowa (and his PDP) has failed Anioma people at large, and they know it.
Was Omo-Agege right in pointing to the neglect of the peoples of Aniocha North and South; the peoples of Oshimili North and South, Ndokwa/Ukwuani, in the scheme of things? Beyond doubt it is true.
Dr. Osuoza and his gang will not agree because they belong to the “cult” of ruthless and ruinous savages that benefit from our anguish.
I challenge the PDP to show us what plans and programmes this administration had at inception in 2015 indicating verifiable deliverables; what process informed those plans, the goals, targets and timelines.
Okowa’s Administration should commission and publish an independent evaluation of its activities, based on his receipts since inception and I am sure the scorecard will be a disgraceful plunge.
PDP’s past seven years in Delta State is a colossal error that must be uprooted and they know that the combination of the audacity and political dexterity cum shrewdness, present in the persons of political giants: DSP Ovie Omo-Agege and Senator Barr. Peter Nwaoboshi, to mention just a few of the leadership in Delta APC are a devastating blast.
PDP in Delta State must surrender all.
