The Department of State Services, (DSS) has filed a fresh terrorism charge against two detained aides of the embattled Yoruba Nation agitator Sunday Adeyemo aka Sunday Igboho.

The lawsuit which is marked FHC/ABJ/CR/305/2021 was filed by the DSS’ legal counsel, S.M. Bello, at the Federal High Court, Abuja.

In the suit, the DSS is seeking the court order to declare the two aides of Igboho as terrorists over allegations that they are both involved in possession of sophisticated fire arms and ammunition.

The names of the affected aides are Noah Oyetunji and Amudat Babatunde (female).

Meanwhile, the court is yet to fix the date for the commencement of the suit hearing.

This development is coming after Justice Obiora Egwuatu of the Federal High Court, Abuja had granted the 12 aides of Igboho bail application.

Recall that the 12 aides were arrested by the operatives of the DSS during an invasion on Igboho’s residence in Soka area of Ibadan, Oyo state on July 1. The aides remained in the custody of the DSS until recently when 8 out of the 12 were released by the security agency.

The remaining four aides are still in detention facility of the DSS, over allegations that they are stockpiling arms and ammunition.
