Sunday Igboho, a popular O’odua activist on Friday, reportedly captured two suspected soldiers for allegedly spying on him, sparking fears of a possible reprisal in Ibadan, Oyo state capital.

Igboho, who has been in the news for his activism over the Fulani herdsmen crisis, was seen in a video that surfaced online, accusing two suspected soldiers for spying on him.

However, the two men who were seen in military camouflage, denied the accusations, stating that they had a different mission.

According to the two suspects, they were on their way to separate two civilians who were fighting at that time.

Igboho who was visibly annoyed, lambasted the two suspected soldiers, stating that they should not allow the Federal Government to use them to threaten him.

This was contained in a video and posted on the official facebook page of Igboho’s Spokesman, Olayiwola Koiki.

Speaking in the video, Igboho warned that the Federal Government should stop harassing him as he is committed to making sure that there is peace in the Yoruba nation.

In his words, “If you want to prove anything, it should not be to me Igboho. You are bastards among Yorubas. If not, they would not have sent you to me. And I promise you will finish. I will finish you,”.

It would be recalled that a joint team of officers of the Nigeria Police Force and officers of the Department of State Services attempted to arrested Igboho in February.

However, the attempt was foiled as Igboho dared the security agencies to do their worst.

Recall also that Igboho has been in the news since he gave a 7-day ultimatum to Fulani herdsmen in Ibarapa area of Oyo State to vacate the community.

Igboho later stormed the affected town following the expiration of the ultimatum.

Additionally, Mohammed Adamu, the Inspector General of Police reportedly ordered the arrest of Igboho, following the ultimatum he gave to the Fulani herders of Ibarapa.

However, it appears that the directive has become a tall order at the moment.
