Suspected armed bandits have reportedly abducted a former Director-General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Brigadier General Maharazu Tsiga (retired), along with several others in Katsina State.

According to reports, the attacks on Tsiga and others were reportedly carried out during an attack that took place in Tsiga village, located in the Bakori Local Government Area.

The attack was said to have occurred in the early hours of Thursday, February 6, 2025.

Meanwhile, the Katsina State Police Command is yet to confirm the attack as of prèss time.
