  • It is being alleged by Kano deputy Governor that immediate past Kano State Governor Ganduje is the one using superior might with the help of the National security adviser, Malam Nuhu Ribadu.
  • Some soldiers allegedly arrived the mini-palace of Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero, who was dethroned by Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, on Thursday, to purportedly offer protection.
  • Kano state governor, Abba Yusuf issued a reappointment letter to Sanusi on Friday and he led Jumat prayers at Government House, Kano.
  • However, drama of the Absurd commenced in the early hours of Saturday, as dethroned Ado Bayero returned to Kano and was welcomed by a crowd of supporters.
  • The dethroned Emir later moved into the mini-palace in Nassarawa, triggering concern in many quarters.
  • Consequent upon this looming confusion and crisis, Governor Yusuf issued a statement, directing the police to effect the arrest of the dethroned Emir for attempting to cause a breach of public peace.
  • The Kano State Police Command declined to carry out the governor’s order citing a Court order halting the reinstatement of Sanusi Lamido Sanusi.
