As temper continues to flare ahead of tonight’s champions league final, Chelsea and Manchester City fans have engaged each other in violent brawl in Porto, Portugal.

Many supporters of the two English top flight clubs had travelled to Porto to support their clubs ahead of the Champions League Final.

However, in an unusual manner, tempers flared as fans of the two clubs booed each other, leading to a violent clash.

According to reports, many of the fans were seen at some local bars in Porto, Portugal. However, fights broke out between the fans of the clubs as some were seen punching each other.

In a viral clip, some other fans were also seen fuelling the wild brawl, throwing drinks at each other in despicable scenes.

However, it took the intervention of the police to douse the tension in the atmosphere.

According to reports, no death was recorded, however, one Chelsea fan covered with blood was led away by the police.

Two fans were also reportedly injured in a clash that occurred in Sao Bento railway station located in Porto.

Similary, a violent clash occurred on Thursday, as fans clashed after bars closed at about 10:30pm.

According to reports, the fans were involved in angry clashes with bar staff after the bars shut down at 10.30pm as part of the COVID-19 restrictions placed by the Portuguese government.

The clash was attributed to the ignorance of some fans who travelled to Portugal as they were not aware of the 10.30pm curfew.

One supporter sustained serious injuries, according to reports.

About 16,500 fans will be allowed into the Estádio do Dragão stadium located in Porto, Portugal, but many more supporters came to support their teams and this might have escalated the tension in the atmosphere.
