Two fans were also reportedly injured in a clash that occurred in Sao Bento railway station located in Porto.

Similary, a violent clash occurred on Thursday, as fans clashed after bars closed at about 10:30pm.

According to reports, the fans were involved in angry clashes with bar staff after the bars shut down at 10.30pm as part of the COVID-19 restrictions placed by the Portuguese government.

The clash was attributed to the ignorance of some fans who travelled to Portugal as they were not aware of the 10.30pm curfew.

One supporter sustained serious injuries, according to reports.

About 16,500 fans will be allowed into the Estádio do Dragão stadium located in Porto, Portugal, but many more supporters came to support their teams and this might have escalated the tension in the atmosphere.
