Samsung Electronics has announced the passing of its co-chief Executive Officer, Han Jong-Hee, on Tuesday, March 25, 2025.
It was gathered that Han, aged 63, succumbed to a heart attack, leaving behind a legacy of innovation and leadership at one of the world’s leading technology companies.
Han, who was praised as being a pivotal figure in Samsung’s rise to global dominance, joined the company in 1988 and steadily climbed the ranks.
Appointed co-CEO in 2022, he was said to have overseen the consumer electronics and mobile devices division, driving advancements that solidified Samsung’s position as a household name.
According to reports, his contributions were instrumental in making Samsung a leader in LED TV technology and navigating the company through challenging market conditions.
