A former Nigerian ambassador to Vietnam, Ambassador Adamu Mamani Hassan has passed away.

The New Diplomat reports Hassan passed away on November 7, 2024.

It would be recalled that Hassan hails from Lau Local Government Area of Taraba State. He was a Civil Servant who started as a teacher and rose to the peak of his career as a Permanent Secretary in five different Ministries in Taraba State.

He was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Nigeria to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam on 1st February 2021. He arrived in Hanoi, capital of Vietnam on 14th October 2021.

As an educationist, he had a Bachelor of Education Degree B.Ed from the famous Ahmadu Bello University Zaria. He attended several workshops and seminars during his career.

He was a traditional title holder as the Shetiman Lau. He was also a member of the Board of Trustees of the Arewa Consultative Forum and current Chairman of Hausa -Fulani Development Association of Lau Local Government.
