The remains of the late singer, Osinachi Nwachukwu has been laid to rest, in her home town, Amakpoke Umuaku community, Abia state amidst tears.

The late singer, was buried in her father’s compound in Isuochi, Abia.

Osinachi, who died on April 8, 2022, was reported to have suffered as a result of perpetual domestic violence from the husband.

Until her death, Osinachi was a chorister at the headquarters of the Dunamis International Gospel Center in Abuja.

 

A Twitter User, @IgboHistoFacts, revealed that the family returned her dowry making it possible for them to bury the late singer in her father’s compound as Igbo tradition demands.

Prior to the final internment on Saturday, a night of worship was held in Abuja on Thursday, June 23.

A Night of Prayer was also held in Isochi, Umunoci in Abia state yesterday, June 24.

However, her husband Peter Nwachukwu will not be present for her wife’s burial as he is currently facing trial over the charges.

Osinachi died a twins, at 42 and she is survived by four children and her husband.
