Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) said on Monday that the Supreme Court by its recent decision on Zamfara undemocratically “imposed strangers on the people” of the state.

Breaking his silence on last Friday’s ruling of the Supreme court which declared votes cast for the APC in Zamfara State as wasted votes, Oshiomhole said the recourse to technicalities in arriving at the ruling on Zamfara has not served the course of justice.

According to him, what APC got in Zamfara “is a judgment that didn’t translate to justice.”

He said the least the party expected from the apex court was for a rerun of the election, noting that at the time Zamfara people cast their votes for the candidates of APC, court had declared them eligible to run.
