The Nigerian Tourism Development Corporation (NTDC) says it will hold the South-South Tourism Stakeholders’ interactive forum to ensure the growth of the tourism, travel and hospitality industry in the country.

NTDC’s Director-General, Mr Folorunsho Coker, said this in a statement he issued in Abuja.

He noted that the forum would hold on Aug. 26, 2021 in Calabar, Cross River.

According to Coker, the forum is to provide a platform for the South-South tourism stakeholders to deliberate on current issues bothering the industry.

“The theme of the forum is: “The Use of Digital Technology to Revamp the Tourism and Hospitality Industry amid COVID-19 and Security Challenges in Nigeria”.

“It is in line with the Federal Government’s directive to diversify the economy,” the director-general said.(NAN)
