Reactions have started trailing fresh reports about the reported crashed marriage of Sophie Rammal-Alakija to Wale Alakija, son of Nigeria’s richest Woman and business mogul, Foorunso Alakija.

The Nigerian entertainment industry is no stranger to failed celebrity relationships and many fans have already accepted it as a norm in the Nigerian society. But in reaction to this report, Tunde Adeyinka, an entertainment analyst said most Nigerian celebrities marriages are usually short-lived because they find it extremely difficult to cope with the challenges that go with a marriage life or status.

Recall that the celebrity marriage of Sophie Rammal-Alakija, took place in March 2016. The beautiful actress got married to her husband, Wale Alakija, son of Folorunso Alakija, Nigeria’s richest woman, in a Muslim/Traditional wedding in Surulere. The union is blessed with two kids, Aydin and Caliph.

Adeyinka, while commenting this crash said: ” It is really not strange anymore. Most of these celebrities can hardly cope in settled marriage life because it has its won challenges and restrictions, customs and conventional behaviours. As a married couple, there are certain roles that would be odd if you are in a modelling or acting business… These are the real issues.

It would be recalled that Sophie  Alakija is no longer married to her spouse, Wale Alakija whom she had tow kids for. It was reported that she walked out of her marriage a year ago so she was reported to have found it difficult living what some referred to as “her baby girl lifestyle.”

Those in the know said this informed her decision to take down all the family pictures from her various handles. She was also alleged to have left her two kids with her ex-spouse. Within the entertainment circle,  she is alleged to be among the number 1 clubs favorites in Lagos presently. Among her circle of friends are said to be Efe Irele, Timini Egbuson and the rest.

A recent scroll  by The New Diplomat to her verified Instagram page (@sophiealakija) revealed that Sophie retained the surname “Alakija”  which she attached to her name as she has  deleted all her photos with her husband and family. The young star according to reports has reportedly turned down all efforts to settle the couple by the family.

Sophie has reportedly left her husband’s surname on her Instagram profile because it is believed that it has a ring to it.

Interestingly, fans have already noticed that the actress had deleted all photos of her husband and family from her page as her husband, Wale Alakija, has similarly deleted all of Sophie’s photos from his page.

According to reports from Gistlover, Sophie is currently enjoying her new lifestyle with her best friends, Efe Irele and Timini Egbuson. Read some online excerpts about the Nollywood Star online based on information gathered therein:

It was also reported that the young lady has continued to turn down settlement plans arranged by their family. Sophie also reportedly left her husband’s surname on her Instagram profile because it has a ring to it.

It said: “Sophie in the other hand is enjoying her new lifestyle as she has turned down all settlement arranged by the family,she is still using the name ALAKIIJA because it rings a bell, she has actually removed the name on her twitter bio.”

The New Diplomat Recently Reported the diva’s story as she set internet agog with some scintillating pictures on social media. Sophie seem to be enjoying her current lifestyle on as she captioned her recent pictures: “The beautiful ones are born.”
