Six members of the same family have been reportedly killed on their farm settlement in Wasinmi village, Irewole Local Government Area of Osun.

Reports also indicated that the six persons murdered on Saturday are suspected herdsmen.

Yemisi Opalola, the Spokesperson, Osun Police Command, has confirmed the incident to newsmen in Osogbo on Sunday.

Opalola, a superintendent of police, said the incident happened late Saturday night, adding that those who were killed are members of the same family.

The spokesperson noted that the police had commenced investigation into the incident, adding that the perpetrators of the evil act would be brought to justice.

Opalola also assured that Olawale Olokode, the Commissioner of Police, Osun State Police Command, had moved to the village with detectives, hunting the perpetrators of the act.
