Premier League club Chelsea have won the League title after beating West Brom 1-0 in their match-day 36 duel played on Friday night, May 12, 2017 at the Hawthorns. The Blues had to wait till the 82nd minute before Michy Batshuayi scored the goal that gave Antonio Conte’s men the Premier League title.

West Brom gave Chelsea a good challenge in the encounter, and the hosts would have scored in the 15th minute, but Chris Brunt’s efforts was saved by Thibaut Courtois.

This time, the making of the Super Eagles’ winger, Victor Moses, an unwanted midfielder who had spent the previous three seasons loaned out to other clubs has contributed largely to Chelsea winning the league. Moses has continued to shine week-in, week-out with Conte’s 3-4-2-1 formation, thereby becoming an integral part of that plan..Michy and Victor Moses in good mood

Spanish international Cesc Fabregas also had the chance to give Chelsea the lead in the 30th minute after being set up by Super Eagles forward Victor Moses, but his superb shot was parried away by Ben Foster.

Chelsea fans had thought the match would end in a draw, but Michy Batshuayi’s goal at the death gave the Blues the deserved win to become the new EPL champions.
