Immediate past President of the 8th Senate, Bukola Saraki, has congratulated Nigerian-born diplomat and first African to serve as Secretary General of the Commonwealth, Chief Chukwuemeka Anyaoku, on his 90th birthday celebrations.
Saraki in a congratulatory message described Anyaoku as the embodiment of significant achievements on the global stage.
in his words, “Today, I join all Nigerians to celebrate the 90th birthday of Chief Emeka Anyaoku, the former Secretary-General of the Commonwealth.
“We thank the Almighty for blessing him with such an incredible life that has been filled with significant achievements on the global stage and amongst the international community.
“As his friends, family, and supporters celebrate with him on this special day, we wish Chief Emeka Anyaoku a very happy birthday and pray that the Almighty will keep him in good health”.
