The Director of the Abuja School of Social and Political Thoughts, Sam Amadi, has revealed that while Nigerians look forward to a better country, the future may not lie with politicians and the current crop of political leaders.

According to him, the present crop of leaders do not give much confidence about the future of Nigeria.

He emphasized that Nigeria has no destination with thieves as her leaders.

Amadi, who took to his official X handle, explained that Nigerian authorities purportedly buys one drone for $150m while the real cost is $5m.

He added that with the exorbitant spending of politicians in power in Nigeria is saddening and with that Nigeria cannot overcome its challenges.

He tweeted: “Nigeria buys one drone for $150m while the real cost is $5m. Now you know why we cannot defeat insecurity.

“Whoever told you in 2023 that we could afford to vote normal corrupt politicians as president and Governors lied to you.

“We have no future with thieves as leaders.”
