Abdullahi Baffa Bichi, the immediate past Secretary to the Kano State Government, has publicly threatened to expose both Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano State and a former governor of Kano State, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, with incriminating materials.

Bichi claimed he has documents, voice recordings, and videos which he says will reveal dirty details about the actions and relationships of these political figures.

He stated: “I’m happy that I have finished my tenure in peace. As you know, this is not the best time to talk, but at the appropriate time, we will expose them so that people will understand the kind of people they are.

“They are not trustworthy people… They’re very deceptive. They don’t know anything except treachery and betrayal. They are not people to be trusted.

“We have documented everything from written to audio and video evidence.”

The threat came after his sacking from his position amid allegations of disloyalty and involvement in a movement advancing Yusuf’s freedom and independence from Kwankwaso’s influence, known as the “Abba Tsaya da Kafarka” campaign.

The fallout between Bichi and the current Kano State administration has been making headlines, with Bichi expressing his frustration over what he perceives as betrayal by the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) and its Kwankwasiyya faction.
