  • Plays 1-1 Against Portman

By Abiola Olawale

The newly appointed Head coach of Manchester United, Ruben Amorim failed to bag all three points in his first outing in the English Premier League.

Manchester United played a 1-1 draw against Ipswich at Portman Road on Sunday.

Though the Reds started the game well, with Marcus Rashford scoring after just two minutes, they couldn’t claim the win in the Premier League.

This is as Omari Hutchinson equalised before halftime with a wonderful curling effort into the top corner.

Manchester United needed Andre Onana to be in top form to secure the visitors a point.

The United goalkeeper twice denied Liam Delap with fine saves, leaving Amorim with plenty of work to do to get his new side to where he wants them to be.

Manchester United now sits in the 12th position of the Premier League.
