News emanating from the National Assembly show that the  leadership of the House of Representatives is presently  in a closed-door session with the heads of security agencies in Nigeria.

Our Abuja Bureau reports that the closed-door meeting started at roughly 2:15pm, and it is being chaired by the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt Hon. Ahmed Wase.

Checks indicate that top officers from the  Defence Headquarters, Nigerian Army, Nigeria Air Force, Nigerian Navy, Nigeria Police Force, Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps, Nigerian Immigration Service, Nigerian Correctional Service, among others, are present at the meeting.
