The Senate on Thursday set up 5 man ad-hoc committee to harmonise the various contributions and suggestions of the lawmakers during the two days debate on state of the economy.

The Senate President Bukola Saraki announced members of the ad-hoc committee at the end of Thursday plenary. He said members of the committee are to harmonise contributions and suggestion made by the Senators during the debate.

Members of the ad-hoc committee are Senator Jubrin Barau, Senator Ben Murray Bruce, Senator Mohammed Hassan, John Eno and Senator Yahaya Abdullahi who will serve as the chairman of the committee.

The Senate President appreciates the Senators for the manner of their debate which was devoid of political affiliation. “I must thank you all for the manner displayed during the debate, we were very patriotic in our contribution” Saraki said
